A warm welcome to those who are new participants and to those who are new to the neighborhood!
Registration for the FALL season will open in AUGUST, Registration for the SPRING season will open in FEBRUARY.

Our instructional sessions are geared toward participants between the ages of 3.5 thru 5 years old.
The CLINIC and PEEWEE sessions run 8 weeks. The FALL season is mid-September through mid-November. The SPRING season is April through June.
The sessions are categorized by grade as follows….
- PEE WEEs – Children entering Kindergarten Sept of 2024
- CLINIC 4’s – Children entering Kindergarten Sept of 2023 (this is a pre-requisite for those who want to play Intramural games in the Fall)
- CLINIC 5’s – First time PAL players who entered Kindergarten September 2022(CLINIC is a pre-requisite for Intramural game play)
Sessions take place Saturday mornings (times to be announced – depending on registration numbers) at the Fayette Elementary School, 1075 Merrick Avenue, just north of the Southern State Parkway.
Registration is $85 per child for both Clinic and Pee Wee sessions Registration includes a FREE soccer ball and T-shirt. Pickup date will be advised separately.
All participants are suggested to wear cleats and shin guards during the sessions. In addition, no jewelry/earrings are allowed. Please DO NOT pierce your child’s ear right before or during the season. They will not be allowed to participate.
PAL is a volunteer program, and we can not function without parental participation, especially at this age. Volunteers should arrive 5 minutes early, so that the professional trainers can go over the sessions for the day. Our program can only work with the volunteer help of our parents.
Rainout information can be found our website www.merrickpal.org and will be posted 1 hour prior to the start the session. No postings means the sessions will be as held scheduled.
